Step 1

Complete the Online Form

Begin by completing our secure Hard Card Scan order form. This form collects the information and documents we need to properly process and submit your fingerprints for your background check. Once completed, you’ll be ready to move on to the next step.

Step 2

Get Fingerprinted on FD-258 Cards

Go to a local fingerprinting provider — this can be your nearest police station or a private fingerprinting agency — and ask to be fingerprinted on two FD-258 fingerprint cards. You can use either, Ink fingerprinting – traditional method using ink rolled onto the card, or Live scan printing – digital fingerprints that are printed onto the card using regular printer ink. Most providers already have FD-258 cards  in stock. If not, you can order some online (Amazon and other retailers sell them).

Step 3

Mail Your Fingerprint Hard Cards To Us

Once you’ve completed the order form and submitted payment, you're ready to send in your  fingerprint cards for processing.

Please mail two completed FD-258 fingerprint cards to our office. You may also include a copy of your payment receipt or the confirmation PDF you received after submitting the form.

Step 4

We'll Take it From Here

Once we receive your fingerprint cards, we will scan your fingerprints into our FDLE-certified Live Scan system and electronically submit them to Florida for processing. 

After submission, we’ll email you your TCN number (Transaction Control Number), which allows you to track the status of your background check with the appropriate Florida agency.
